€8 Million Superyacht Sinks Off Italian Coast Days After Ownership Change

A superyacht valued at over €8 million has sunk off the Italian coast days after its recent transfer of ownership.

The 30-meter Amer F100 class vessel sank near Porto Cervo due to engine failure and now lies at a depth of about 7 meters in the waters between the islands of Cappuccino and Capo Ferro.

Reports indicate that the incident could have been triggered by a fire onboard. The yacht was delivered to an Italian businessman just days before the sinking occurred.

There were 14 people aboard, including crew members, with no injuries reported.
