Turkish authorities discovered what appears to be wreckage of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on the Black Sea coast of Sakarya province on August 15. The debris was found near Kaynardja and initially identified as part of a drone’s body.
This incident is the third reported case of UAV debris in Turkey within a single day, following earlier finds in Istanbul province and Duzce province.
