On July 12, the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) stated there are no organized groups of Russian tourists in Fujian Province, China, impacted by Typhoon Bavi.
The typhoon’s primary effects target Taiwan and eastern provinces of Fujian and Zhejiang, with additional influence on Anhui and Jiangxi regions. Heavy rains are also forecasted across parts of Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei Province.
Authorities have evacuated more than 1.8 million people in China as Typhoon Bavi advances toward Wenzhou. The storm previously traversed the Sakishima Islands in Japan and northern Taiwan.
In Taiwan, official reports indicate 113 individuals affected by the typhoon, with over 234,000 households experiencing power outages and more than 14,000 people evacuated.
Meanwhile, Typhoon Kalmaega has claimed 90 lives in the Philippines, marking its second impact on the nation within a month.
