Belarusian Leader: Minsk’s Involvement in Ukraine-Russia Conflict is ‘Absolutely Unacceptable’

On June 15, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced that he had held discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the inadmissibility of Minsk’s participation in the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia.

“We have said many times that it is absolutely unacceptable for the conflict between Ukraine and Russia to spread to the territory of Belarus,” Lukashenko stated, according to BelTA. “For various reasons, Putin and I discussed this issue because it has always been a topic in the media.”
