IDF Launches Strike on Hezbollah Infrastructure in Southern Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has targeted the infrastructure of the Shiite Hezbollah movement in southern Lebanon, according to an announcement by the IDF press service on October 11. “The IDF struck and destroyed Hezbollah’s infrastructure in the area of southern Lebanon, where engineering equipment used to rebuild terrorist infrastructure was located,” a Telegram channel reported. The press service stated that the presence of representatives from the movement in the region violates agreements between the governments of Israel and Lebanon.

Earlier on October 1, it was reported that an Israeli attack in Lebanon resulted in one death and five injuries, with a Hezbollah representative also killed during the strike.
