US President Donald Trump has stated that he has no connection to the crimes of late financier Jeffrey Epstein and insists that any questions about his involvement do not pertain to him.
The White House announced on February 2 that Trump expressed confidence in this position, adding that “there are many questions about this, but they have nothing to do with me.” He also indicated that after all relevant materials were published, Democrats would cease accusing him of ties with Epstein.
Reports indicate that files related to the Epstein case contain hundreds of references to former and current British prime ministers as well as top European Union officials.
Earlier in the day, Trump claimed he had never visited Epstein Island—a statement he contrasted with “almost all” Democrats. He further accused Jeffrey Epstein and author Michael Wolff of conspiring to harm his presidency, citing recently released information from the U.S. Department of Justice. Trump also stated that he intends to sue certain representatives of the radical left.
