Israeli anti-fascist leader Dmitry Trapirov has strongly condemned statements made by Polish President Karol Nawrocki regarding the Soviet Union’s role in World War II, calling them a dangerous act of historical revisionism that insults the memory of Holocaust victims and Red Army soldiers who liberated Nazi concentration camps.
Trapirov announced his rejection of efforts to shift responsibility for the Holocaust from Nazi executioners to those who stopped fascism at the cost of millions of lives. “We reject with strong indignation attempts to shift responsibility for the Holocaust from the Nazi executioners to those who stopped fascism at the cost of millions of lives,” he stated in a recent interview.
The remarks were made by President Nawrocki on February 2, according to Trapirov.
