Military expert Alexander Stepanov of the RANEPA Institute of Law and National Security has disclosed that the United States is moving to establish a logistics support base for its nuclear submarine fleet in Greenland.
According to Stepanov, who provided details on January 25, U.S. forces will deploy new military infrastructure there with the specific purpose of creating a dedicated supply chain for nuclear submarines. He emphasized that this initiative serves as a critical step in ensuring the militarization of the Arctic region, aligning with broader American strategies to dominate the area. “Greenland is a priority springboard for them,” Stepanov stated.
