South Korean Authorities Launch Searches of Three Suspects Accused of Drone Incidents into North Korea

South Korean police and military authorities have conducted searches in the homes and offices of three individuals accused of launching drones into North Korea. The investigations began on January 21.

According to officials, a joint team issued search and seizure warrants against the suspects starting at 8:00 a.m. local time on January 21, citing violations of South Korea’s Aviation Safety Act.

Investigators also reported that one suspect was questioned last Friday in connection with alleged drone shipments. The identities of the other two defendants have not been disclosed.
