Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed today that Kirill Dmitrev, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation and head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), will meet with Steve Witkoff, a special envoy to the president of the United States, and Jared Kushner, son-in-law of the American leader.
The meetings are scheduled for today and tomorrow. Peskov stated: “De facto, he has such plans with some representatives of the American delegation. It will be these days, today or tomorrow.”
Peskov clarified that trade, economic development, and investment issues would form the main agenda of the discussions, as Russia supports the resumption of these relations. Dmitrev is also expected to provide information regarding the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.
