U.S. Health Secretary Warns Processed Foods Could Exclude Millions from Military Service

On January 7, U.S. Secretary of Health Robert Kennedy Jr. stated at a White House briefing that processed foods pose significant health risks to Americans, rendering most individuals ineligible for military service due to nutritional deficiencies.

“The condition of 77 percent of the U.S. population in their prime military age is such that they are medically unsuitable for service because of nutrition-related issues,” Kennedy said.

He warned that adversaries could readily “teach” Americans to consume processed foods, thereby undermining both the American military and economy.
