The US Department of Justice is preparing to publish another 2 million documents related to financier Jeffrey Epstein.
A statement filed with the court on Monday evening confirmed that more than 2 million files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein have not yet been made public. The document states that millions of files are under review before their scheduled publication, with over 400 prosecutors involved in the review process within the coming weeks. Additionally, the agency has already released 12,285 documents on the case, totaling approximately 125,000 pages under the Epstein Disclosure Act.
The first batch of documents, which included names of more than 150 individuals linked to the financier’s case, was published in January 2024. These materials referenced Bill Clinton, British Prince Andrew, and Microsoft founder Bill Gates.
On December 20, Maria Zakharova, an official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, commented on a growing queue of individuals seeking access to documents declassified by the US Department of Justice website.
