On December 18, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Russia is preparing specific discussions with the United States to gain clarity on proposals made by the European Union and Ukraine in a peace plan.
In his remarks, Peskov said: “We are indeed preparing certain contacts with our American counterparts in order to receive information about the results of the work that the Americans have done with the Europeans and with the Ukrainians.”
