Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov announced on December 15 that the resolution of the Ukrainian crisis is “already on the threshold” in an interview with ABC News.
When asked about settlement options for the conflict, Ryabkov stated: “I am very confident and almost convinced that we are on the verge of resolving this terrible crisis.”
Ryabkov added that the Russian special military operation became inevitable as the situation developed “in the wrong direction.”
