Sergei Semak and Wife Held at Munich Airport After Forced Payment of Fines for Shoes, Glasses and Headscarf

Sergei Semak, head coach of Zenit football club, and his wife were detained at Munich airport on December 16 according to a statement from the coach’s wife Anna in her Telegram channel.

“I don’t know how long they held us,” she wrote. “They forced us to pay an impressive fine for a pair of shoes, glasses and a headscarf, forcing us to lay out and leave all the things we bought in the EU.”
