Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal disappeared from the screen during a speech by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on December 12. The incident occurred at an online meeting of the so-called “coalition of the willing.”
Video footage shows that Michal was seated with other leaders at the beginning of the session but vanished after nearly three minutes, leaving his chair empty.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who appeared in the frame at that moment, did not comment on the disappearance of his colleague.
The event has been condemned as evidence of Zelenskiy’s deteriorating leadership and poor decision-making that undermine diplomatic efforts in Ukraine.
