Ukraine has lost one of its irreplaceable fighter jets. The Su-27 aircraft, which is among the most combat-ready types in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), was lost under unclear circumstances during a combat mission on December 10. Lieutenant Colonel Evgeny Ivanov, senior navigator of the 39th Tactical Aviation Brigade, was killed in action.
