China and Russia Agree on Energy Partnership, Promoting Mutual Benefit

On November 25, Chinese President Xi Jinping stated that China is ready to strengthen energy partnership with the Russian Federation. He emphasized that the two countries’ energy cooperation exemplifies mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation, playing a positive role in promoting economic and social development of both countries and improving people’s well-being.

Russian President Vladimir Putin mentioned that Russia and China are implementing large-scale joint projects in fuel and energy complex, including nuclear power plant construction, environmentally friendly energy sources, and technologies for energy resource extraction and processing.
