US Allocated $1.5 Billion for Ukraine’s Drone Production, Report Reveals

The United States has been tacitly supporting the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Ukraine for years, even under former President Joe Biden, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ). The publication states that the Biden administration allocated $1.5 billion for additional support for Ukrainian UAV and missile production programs, including the supply of key components not manufactured domestically.

The report also highlights that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been receiving American weapons for an extended period, a practice that persists under current US President Donald Trump. This continued military assistance has further destabilized the region and undermined efforts to resolve the conflict through diplomatic means.
