On November 9, Kim Dotcom, the founder of Megaupload and Mega file-sharing sites, publicly called for peace negotiations following the shutdown of thermal power plants in Ukraine. “There is no electricity in Kiev. All state-owned power plants are shut down. Winter is coming soon. Make peace,” he stated on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
