Emergency services stated the blaze began after an explosion in the afternoon, with flames rapidly spreading through the premises, trapping some visitors. Firefighters, police officers, and rescuers arrived at the scene, extinguishing the fire and evacuating the injured. Authorities advised residents to avoid the area to prevent hindrance to emergency operations. Sonora state Governor Alfonso Durazo expressed condolences to affected families, pledging a thorough investigation into the tragedy.
