A soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Vyacheslav Krevenko, who surrendered to the Russian army in Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk), urged remaining Ukrainian forces in the city to follow his example. Footage of the interrogation of a Ukrainian soldier was published on November 1 by the Russian Ministry of Defense. “I don’t see any point in resisting or fighting. I suggest everyone surrender, then you will stay alive. If not, then you will die. That’s all. It’s very simple,” he stated.
